✅ Before your appointment Hair length: The hair should be around 3–5 mm long. Do not shave or pluck the area for at least 10 days before your appointment. 24–48 hours before: You may do a gentle exfoliation/scrub 24–48 hours before the treatment, but not on the same day, to avoid irritation. On the day of the treatment: Come with clean, dry skin on the upper lip area. Do not apply creams, oils, foundation, concealer or other makeup on the treated area. 24–48 hours before the treatment: Do not sunbathe or use a tanning bed. Avoid acid peels, deep cleansing or any aggressive facial treatments on the area. If possible, avoid skincare products with retinol or acids around the mouth. 🌸 After the treatment (first 24 hours) Do not touch the area with dirty hands, do not rub or scratch it. Avoid using foundation, powder or concealer on the area for at least 12–24 hours. Do not go to the sauna, swimming pool or gym, and avoid heavy exercise that causes sweating. Do not sunbathe or use a tanning bed for 24–48 hours. Afterwards, use SPF when exposed to the sun. Do not use scrubs, acid peels, retinol or strong exfoliants on the area for 2–3 days after the treatment. If there is redness or sensitivity, you can apply a soothing gel or cream, for example with aloe vera or panthenol.
